About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of operatives and drivers, ensuring they are motivated and treated fairly and consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of operatives and drivers to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Plan and implement strategies to achieve service level targets
- Develop and implement training programs to educate team members on business goals and service objectives
- Ensure compliance with safe, secure, and operationally compliant working practices
Requirements:
- Experience in managing a shift and team in a busy freight processing environment
- Ability to manage own and team's time effectively with attention to detail
- Strong customer focus and good communication skills
