About the Role

As a Sales Consultant with CCP, you will be part of a dynamic team that is partnering with an award-winning insurance company to enhance their experienced life insurance sales team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a confident and proven Sales Consultant who is keen to work in an energetic B2C environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Outcomes: Consistently meet and exceed customer expectations, ensuring good customer outcomes that are consistent with Consumer Duty.
  • Maximise Lead Potential: Maximise the potential of every lead received and overcome objections to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Questioning: Conduct comprehensive questioning with each client to ensure the correct product is presented, meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Maintain High Compliance Standards: Consistently maintain a high standard of compliance, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Effectively Manage Pipeline: Effectively manage a pipeline of business, prioritising tasks and activities to achieve sales targets.
  • Communicate Clearly and Professionally: Communicate clearly and professionally to customers, building rapport and trust to achieve sales success.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Work towards and ultimately achieve the targets set by the line manager, demonstrating sales acumen and drive.
  • Utilise Calling Technology: Utilise calling technology to reach a minimum of 4 hours call requirement per day, maximising sales opportunities.
  • Represent the Business: Be polite and respectfully represent the business, embodying the company values and culture.
  • Work towards Personal Goals: Work towards personal goals and ambitions set in 1-2-1 meetings, demonstrating a growth mindset and commitment to development.

Essential Experience
  • Fast-Paced Sales Environment: Experience of working successfully in a fast-paced, targeted and regulated telephone sales B2C environment.
  • Team Player: Previously worked and enjoyed success in a well-managed, buzzing and organised sales environment.
  • Individual Success: Team player with the ability to achieve individual success.
  • High Volume Sales: Demonstrable success in a high volume-based telephone sales role following a structured sales process.
  • Consultative Sales: Proven experience of consultative sales processes.
Desirable Experience
  • Insurance or Financial Service Sales: Insurance or financial service sales.
  • Cold Calling: Cold calling.
  • Similar Role: Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
