Project Buyer Role

A leading engineering company, JAM Recruitment, is seeking a skilled Project Buyer to join their expanding team, specializing in Highly Regulated manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Project Buyer Manager regarding procurement activity and site reviews
  • Working with key stakeholders and engineering teams to provide appropriate material and highlight material that must be purchased
  • Managing export and change control with subcontractor and supplier contracts in line with project needs
  • Developing and supporting site cost reduction opportunities

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of project lifecycles and project delivery in Highly Regulated environments
  • Expertise in contract terms and conditions using NEC Contracts and ERP systems
  • Experience of building relationships with suppliers, working to supplier's processes, and delivering on agreed KPI's
