**Job Summary**
Cheshire West and Chester Council's Transformation team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Project Management Office (PMO) Support Specialist. This exciting role will provide support to the Major Programmes portfolio, driving forward ambitious change across the organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the development and embedding of a Project/Programme Management Office (PMO) model, ensuring an organisation-wide approach to effective project/programme management.
- Collaborate with Project and Programme Managers to deliver improvements, ensuring regular reporting and governance cycles are planned for and adhered to.
- Produce regular updates on the portfolio's position to senior leaders, ensuring consistent and accurate content.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for information and provide administrative support as required.
**Requirements**
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in partnership with internal departments and external agencies.
- Strong technical skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work in a busy environment.
- Ability to motivate and contribute to team success.
