Position Overview

The IT Operations team is tasked with the support and upkeep of all corporate technology services, encompassing desktop management, on-premises and cloud virtualization, storage solutions, and SaaS applications, along with ensuring network connectivity and serving as a point of escalation for technical support.

As a proficient technical engineer at the third level, you will possess strong communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear, comprehensible language will be essential for interactions with end users, internal teams, and external partners.

The ideal candidate will be required to join an on-call rotation for after-hours escalations and participate in a shift schedule that includes early and late hours. Given the global presence of the company, occasional travel may be necessary with little advance notice.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as an IT Operations Engineer, you will oversee a range of live services, including but not limited to:

  • Conducting scheduled service checks
  • Implementing service enhancements
  • Managing escalations from other departments
  • Handling both planned and unplanned disaster recovery events
  • Overseeing capacity management
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors and business units to resolve issues
  • Performing additional tasks as required to fulfill business objectives
