About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our Engineering Team in York. This position offers extensive flexibility to work from home and the opportunity to work on significant rail infrastructure projects in the UK. The successful candidate will be accountable for the design delivery of allocated E&P/MEP Projects, ensuring designs meet client requirements and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Producing E&P/MEP designs as instructed by the projects Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) and or Lead Engineer.
  2. Planning the allocated design works to meet the agreed timescales.
  3. Identifying changes to the projects client requirements and raising the changes with the CRE/Lead Engineer.
  4. Ensuring projects are completed to meet all client's requirements and applicable standards.
  5. Ensuring projects are completed to the agreed project programme.
  6. Experience in the use of Amtech, Microstation, and Relux Design Software.
  7. A self-motivated team player able to work with minimal supervision.
