Senior Automation Testing Architect

Role Overview:

In the capacity of a Senior Automation Testing Architect, you will spearhead the deployment of advanced automation testing methodologies, ensuring the provision of superior software solutions within the telecom industry.

Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial in designing, developing, and sustaining robust automation frameworks that facilitate continuous integration and delivery.

This position is fully remote and offers a competitive daily rate.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee Test Data Management (TDM) strategies and automation
  • Design and implement API, contract-based, and database testing
  • Create automated test scripts utilizing SpecFlow, .NET, and NUnit frameworks
  • Adopt Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve testability and maintainability
  • Monitor test execution, analyze outcomes, and promote continuous enhancement
  • Generate detailed test documentation, including strategies, plans, and reports

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating effective automation testing strategies and frameworks
  • Strong expertise in at least one Object-Oriented Programming language (Java, Python, C#)
  • Familiarity with BDD and tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Proficient in version control using Git
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps environments

Expertise in Various Testing Types:
  • Functional, API, web, and mobile testing
  • Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium WebDriver, Tricentis Tosca, or Keysight EggPlant
  • Knowledge of WPF application testing
  • Understanding of the test automation pyramid in Agile methodology
  • Experience in managing teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels

Collaboration and Communication Skills:

Exceptional collaboration and communication skills are essential for this role.


Desirable:

Familiarity with CPQ applications and experience within the telecommunications industry would be advantageous.
