English Teacher Wanted for Christchurch Secondary School

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English teacher to join our team at a reputable 11-16 Secondary School in Christchurch. As an English teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of our students.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified English teacher to deliver engaging and challenging lessons, inspiring creativity and critical thinking in our students. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective English lessons for students of varying abilities.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and motivation.
  • Monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure students reach their full potential.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing work to support students in achieving their academic goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge with experience teaching English within a UK secondary school.
  • Effective classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
