About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Case Manager to join our team at It's a People Business. As a key member of our HR Consultancy, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and support to our clients on a wide range of Employee Relations matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations Advice: Provide accurate and timely advice to clients on Employee Relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
  • Case Management: Handle administrative tasks for Employee Relations cases, including creating necessary letters, forms, and reports.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation in the area of Employee Relations.
  • Client Support: Provide first-line call management for clients, assessing their needs and providing sound and legislative compliant advice accordingly.
  • Policy Development: Create bespoke policies, procedures, and people guidelines for clients in conjunction with agreed work priorities.
  • Meeting Support: Support Consultants in minute-taking at disciplinary meetings and investigations, and as required, supporting clients with meetings.
  • Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews and return-to-work interviews with employees on behalf of our clients.
  • Training Support: Support Consultants in creating tailored training content and delivering training courses as required.
  • Payroll Liaison: Liaise with Payroll Bureaus where required, responding to payroll queries from employees to successful conclusion.
Requirements for the Role
  • Qualifications: Level 5 CIPD qualified.
  • Experience: Numerous years' experience in the role of ER Advisor or HR Advisor with a track record of autonomously managing a wide variety of ER matters in a busy and professional office environment.
  • Skills: Good attention to detail, good knowledge of employment legislation, articulate communication skills, proactive and 'can-do' attitude, and a focus on delivering an exceptional service to clients.
