Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations: Oversee the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning cycle, including the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, and provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including VAT, PAYE, corporation tax, and other relevant laws.
- Team Management: Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to optimize business performance and drive growth.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing financial operations, financial planning, and compliance.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Strong IT and systems knowledge, with an in-depth understanding of accounting software and Microsoft packages.
