Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at GPS Hospitality. As a key member of our restaurant leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant General Manager in developing a high-performing team that delivers exceptional guest experiences and drives top-line sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that your team provides outstanding service and meets guest expectations.
- Train and coach team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Utilize GPS Hospitality's systems and processes to run a successful restaurant every shift, every day.
- Implement restaurant controls, including cash and inventory management.
- Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations, and financial results.
- Meet all operational standards, including speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work all shifts, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekends, as required by the business.
- Set an example by maintaining a high level of proficiency in restaurant operations.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Follow all government regulations, employment laws, food safety, and operations policies.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
