About the Role

We are seeking newly qualified ASYE's to join our dynamic team at Wakefield Council. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of up to 15 cases in your first year of employment, ensuring timely and effective support for children and families.
  • Participate in our comprehensive ASYE programme, which includes protected time for training and development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of our team's knowledge and skills through sharing best practices and innovative approaches.

Requirements
