Working hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: An additional 10% Night pay allowance is paid for hours between 10.00pm to 8:00am

The Salvation Army offers supportive housing solutions for individuals aged 25 and above, providing essential advice and guidance related to housing, health, and overall wellbeing. Our organization operates around the clock, seven days a week, dedicated to fostering opportunities that empower individuals to discover their purpose, cultivate meaningful relationships, and enjoy a sense of belonging within the community.

The ideal candidate will oversee front desk operations, addressing client needs and managing communications with external visitors. The Night Concierge will handle inquiries regarding available housing options and facilitate access to emergency accommodations when necessary. Additionally, this role includes assisting with the documentation and reporting of maintenance issues, including urgent repairs outside of regular hours.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

Two or more GCSE's including English and Maths or equivalent Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, ensuring an effective front desk experience Familiarity with regulations pertaining to Health and Safety and the safeguarding of clients and staff Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities, with proficiency in various IT applications
