We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Linen Porter to join our Housekeeping team at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel. As a Linen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hotel's linen areas are clean and well-maintained, and that our guests receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Housekeeping team in maintaining the linen area, including cleaning and organizing linen storage
- Distribute linen to various departments, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use
- Transport linen between areas, adhering to hotel standards and safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and provide excellent guest experiences
- Availability to work 16 hours per week across 2 shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Previous experience in Housekeeping or a related field is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive hourly rate of 12.00, with guaranteed hours and paid overtime
