About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to support the delivery of our creative and engaging curriculum in a school we work closely with.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching students with complex needs and be able to provide essential support in the absence of the classroom teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with additional needs
  • Create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and development
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals, including teaching assistants and specialists, to support the students' educational and emotional needs
  • Implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring that each student's progress is tracked and monitored
  • Engage with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for students
About You
  • Previous teaching experience is essential, with qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Previous experience working with additional needs is highly desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK national curriculum
  • Sound knowledge of additional needs and strategies to support young people
  • Hold high expectations of young people and their outcomes
  • Must be able to drive and have access to your own car
