3D AutoCAD Design Manager

Willmott Dixon is seeking a skilled Design Manager to support our projects across the North East region. As a hybrid worker, you will split your time between our North East office, home, and onsite locations.
We're a top employer in the industry, and we're looking for someone to oversee the design process, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and select, manage, and appoint consultants to ensure they meet their obligations and scope of services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design process to produce accurate information in line with the agreed specification and cost plan/estimate.
- Developing a design programme with consultants to meet the agreed whole life programme dates.
- Chairing design team meetings and issuing actions.
- Creating designs that meet statutory and regulatory requirements and recording them on tracking logs.
You'll be working on exciting projects with values ranging from £5m to £50m across various sectors, including Education, Leisure, Health, Blue Light, and Commercial. With a stable business and a great culture, you can have confidence in your career choice.
