About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance professional to join our team as a Plant Maintenance Manager. This is a key role that ensures the success of our plant, requiring proactive maintenance planning and reaction to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a small team of fitters and work with contractors on site to ensure the plant operates 7 days a week.
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
  • React to breakdowns and ensure prompt resolution to maintain plant operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team to ensure effective coverage day and night.
Requirements
  • Experience in Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems within a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to drive and have access to a vehicle for site visits.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Desirable: experience in heavy plant, quarry, or similar environments.
