As a key member of our Geoscience team, you'll play a critical role in accelerating the global energy transition by providing expert geoscience services to our clients.

About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned geoscientist with a strong background in offshore geophysical campaigns, project management, and UXO risk management. As a Senior Marine Geoscientist, you'll be responsible for acting as a primary point of contact for clients, providing ongoing operational support, and ensuring the production of high-quality deliverables. You'll also be expected to offer technical advice and guidance to the geophysical team, monitor survey data acquisition, and manage quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing ongoing operational support.
  • Produce and present geological and technical reports, including project-specific certifications and specifications.
  • Offer technical advice and guidance to the geophysical team, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
  • Monitor survey data acquisition and manage quality assurance.
  • Attend client meetings online and in person within the UK and occasionally internationally, maintaining and nurturing relationships through frequent communication.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have at least five to seven years of experience in offshore geophysical campaigns, project management, and UXO risk management. You'll also need to have a strong understanding of the offshore energy industry and its needs, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. A degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, or a related field is required, and a Master's degree is desirable. You'll also need to be willing and able to travel as required.
