About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team at NOV HydraRig in Great Yarmouth. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for the assembly and welding of component parts to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work to achieve high quality in the assembly and welding of component parts
  • Fabricate and assemble structural products such as skids, tanks, pipework, and pressure vessel fabrications
  • Interpret weld procedures and engineering drawings to determine materials and consumables
  • Plan task sequences to ensure continuous workflow and meet target dates
  • Carry out acceptable and consistent levels of finish to set quality standards

Requirements

  • Time served apprenticeship or HND in a relevant subject (desirable)
  • Working knowledge within a welding and manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret weld procedures (essential)
