Instrument Cluster Principal Engineer

Drive your career forward with an exciting new challenge at the heart of automotive innovation. We are seeking an exceptional Instrument Cluster Principal Engineer to join our prestigious Centre of Excellence for design and development in Cranfield.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts that meet program requirements for cost, quality, and timing.
  • Develop and maintain physical part BOM and configuration data for manufacturing plants.
  • Contribute to vehicle life cycle cost reduction and lead warranty investigations and implementations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent with a strong understanding of basic electrical theory.
  • Extensive experience in similar roles within the automotive or equivalent sectors.
  • Exposure to CAN communication and familiarity with software development V cycle.
  • Ability to travel in the UK and abroad, sometimes at short notice.

Location: This role is based in Cranfield, with a requirement to be on-site for a minimum of 3 days a week, offering a blend of remote and on-site work that supports a healthy work-life balance.
