Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Solutions Architect to join our Application Services division, driven by growth and strategic initiatives in Oracle Services. This role will involve providing technical direction, support, and expertise in the development, implementation, standardization, and management of Oracle technologies and services. The Oracle Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with various teams, including Group Technology, Architecture, and Product Management, to ensure that our capabilities align with current and future demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide robust technical leadership to enhance the Oracle capabilities within Group Functions, ensuring adherence to quality standards, development lifecycles, security protocols, and governance policies.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering individual development and acting as a mentor to team members in technical skills and career progression.
  • Maintain technical excellence within the Oracle domain by staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, in collaboration with the Architecture team.
  • Oversee the creation of Low-Level Designs for Oracle implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards while facilitating smooth transitions into production.
  • Develop and refine an Oracle Delivery Roadmap that encompasses all activities within the capability, including updates, projects, and critical change periods, in partnership with Group Technology and Architecture teams.
  • Contribute to the IT delivery sourcing strategy, balancing internal capabilities with third-party partnerships to ensure effective Oracle service delivery.
  • Establish clear objectives and performance metrics for the Oracle Capability, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio and Product Management to effectively allocate resources, ensuring the Oracle Capability is equipped to meet its objectives.
  • Work with the Service Management team to create and maintain a Service Catalogue for Oracle Services, ensuring service standards are met and continuously improved.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, facilitating effective communication within the Oracle team and with other departments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Oracle Capability to enhance resilience, mitigate risks, and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM, including various modules such as Core HR, Compensation Management, and Payroll.
  • Strong expertise in data management and integration between Oracle Fusion HCM and other business applications.
  • Familiarity with business process automation within Oracle Fusion HCM, including workflows and notifications.
  • Experience with reporting tools related to Oracle Fusion Services, such as Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Understanding of governance frameworks and best practices related to Oracle Fusion Services.
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring and management services for Oracle applications.
  • Experience in defining security roles and access policies within Oracle Fusion Services.
  • Desirable knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Oracle certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership and Oracle Fusion Cloud Services.
  • Extensive background in Human Capital Management (HCM) and familiarity with Financials.
  • Experience in managing Oracle service capabilities and driving continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in software delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and effectively communicate across various channels.
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
