Job Title: Events Florist

About Us: Wild at Heart is a renowned florist and event business, celebrated for its opulent and unique style. We're seeking a skilled Events Florist to join our team and contribute to the creation of breathtaking events and weddings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the founder and events team in the planning and execution of events, weddings, and client contracts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers at the flower market to source high-quality flowers and materials.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue visits, meetings with clients and suppliers, and on-site coordination.
  • Design and create bespoke floral arrangements for clients, working closely with the events team to ensure exceptional standards.
  • Collaborate with the creative director to develop initial flower and design concepts, mood boards, and client proposals.
  • Operational administration, including phone and email inquiries, proposal creation, and budget management.
  • Flower buying, collection, and management, including working with a team of freelance florists.
  • Pre-event preparation, including site visits, setup, and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the events floristry industry.
  • UK manual driver's license, with ability to drive company vehicles.
  • Strong seasonal flower knowledge and care.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team.
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of floral design and event flower ordering.
