About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team at Connect2Dorset. As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Dorset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain psychological services for Education, Health, and Care Needs Assessments.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and children to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Participate in development meetings and align practices with service policies.
  • Engage in further training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-graduate professional qualification in Educational Psychology (or equivalent).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Knowledge of children's rights and the SEND Code of Practice 0-25.
