Job Summary:

iPeople SC Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Participation Officer to join their Children Services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and advocating on behalf of children and young people to ensure their voice is heard and valued in the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise participation activities within the service to ensure effective engagement and involvement of children and young people.
  • Implement the Mind of My Own initiative to empower children and young people to express their views and opinions.
  • Support the corporate parenting committee to ensure the effective involvement and influence of children in care and care leavers.
  • Provide regular feedback to children in care on the outcomes of their consultations and other activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people, preferably in a social care or childcare setting.
