About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer and Project Manager to join our team at Careers in Design. As a key member of our design studio, you will be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver high-end interior design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects through all RIBA stages, including producing detailed design drawings and building detailed designs.
  • Work with contractors, project managers, clients, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and effective design solutions.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management and interior design.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning laws.

We offer a competitive salary of between £40k and £45k, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme, 25 days' annual leave, and flexible working hours. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-end interior design projects and develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
