Job Summary

We are looking for a Support Worker to provide person-centred care and support to our service users in a Residential Care Home in Bristol. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in line with company and CQC guidelines, and for being actively engaged with service users and staff to continuously seek opportunities for improvements to service users' lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care in line with company and CQC guidelines
  • Be actively engaged with service users and staff to continuously seek opportunities for improvements to service users' lifestyles
  • Provide support and assistance to service users with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated, organised, and resourceful individual
  • Reliable and empathetic
  • Driving licence
  • Fully available for days and nights shifts
