Software Development Engineer in Test

PayPoint Group is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team in Welwyn Garden City. As a key member of our Billing and Settlement delivery stream, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation of functional and non-functional tests for new and existing features
  • Writing small code changes to applications
  • Promoting engineering practices that improve quality and reliability
  • Using Azure DevOps to create and execute test plans
  • Supporting production implementations
  • Setting up continuous testing via the DevOps Pipeline
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a test engineer or software engineer with a strong interest in testing
  • Technical proficiency in Azure DevOps, T-SQL, Windows Server Environments, and Windows and API Testing
  • Experience in using Jira and DevOps Boards
  • Up-to-date knowledge on the latest test automation and load frameworks
  • Team Player with a can-do attitude
