Siemen Gamesa is a leading player in the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Management Officer to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of complex projects at our Hull Blade Factory.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned project management professional with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of project execution, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope, quality, and performance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and develop a high-performing project team, providing purpose, direction, and motivation to ensure maximum performance and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to facilitate successful project implementation.
  • Report project outcomes and risks to stakeholders, escalating issues quickly and efficiently, and ensuring work plans are adapted accordingly.

  • Experience in project management platforms and tools.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to coach project teams to strengthen their abilities and skill sets.
  • Management of budgets and financial resources.
  • Education to degree level in a relevant subject.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a senior project manager role.
