Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a leading manufacturing company in their sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to lead and contribute to the development of the maintenance team through planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

The Role:

Working on a day shift, Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for reporting to the Engineering Manager and carrying out maintenance duties on manufacturing and plant equipment.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using your skills and knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.

Duties:

  1. Carry out regular routine and breakdown maintenance on Electrical/Mechanical equipment.
  2. Work with electrical systems, transformers, motors, and motor control systems, as well as PLC fault finding.
  3. Repair and maintain plant manufacturing equipment for Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical breakdowns.
  4. Develop and implement planned maintenance systems.
  5. Use strong Mechanical/Electrical fault finding skills to resolve issues.
  6. Work as an adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated individual.
  7. Have a time-served apprenticeship in a mechanical/electrical engineering background or HNC/HND qualification.
  8. Have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  9. Have a good working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
