C4Media Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Editor-in-Chief to join our international, always remote team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of technical content that will make a difference for millions of software developers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and acquire high-quality technical content that aligns with our company's vision and goals.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback to authors to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate and mentor the InfoQ Editors team to ensure seamless content delivery.
  • Spearhead the exploration of new topics, channels, and online experiences to engage our readers.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify emerging software trends and develop content that addresses these trends.
  • Ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement content strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background as a software developer, engineer, system administrator, business analyst, or QA tester.
  • Passion for software and delivering amazing products.
  • In-depth understanding of emerging software trends.
  • Proficiency in remote work best practices and platforms.
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Able to work as a contractor in a full-time remote position.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
  • Able to work online hours that overlap with EST 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
  • Able and willing to travel to locations in the USA or Europe 3-5 times per year.
  • Reliable, high-speed internet access and a newer computer.
