Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer

Our client, a leading provider of defence solutions, is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to join their team. As an ILS Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex defence projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement ILS strategies and plans to ensure the effective support of defence systems throughout their lifecycle.
  2. Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to provide product and system supportability reporting and assurance.
  3. Manage and respond to customer requests for proposal, invitations to tender, and statements of work, ensuring that ILS requirements are met.
  4. Support business growth as an ILS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for bids, partnering agreements, and project ILS meetings and reviews.
  5. Contribute to the development of FMECA's, RBD's, and MTBF generation, ensuring that supportability requirements are met.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience contributing to bid responses, understanding customer requirements, estimating costs, and providing bid content such as ILS/IPS plans.
  2. Experience in the service support of low volume, high-value products and systems in a highly regulated environment.
  3. Knowledge and experience of the application of through-life support standards such as DEF STAN 00-600, 00-40, 00-42, Mil Std 217F, and KiD.
  4. Good knowledge of MOD support frameworks and experience in their application as a supplier.
