Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Activities Lead to join our team at Rokewood Court, a stunning 64-bed care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a calendar of engaging events and activities for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a range of activities and events to promote social interaction and engagement among residents
- Work closely with the care team to ensure activities are tailored to meet the needs and interests of residents
- Develop and maintain relationships with external providers to access additional resources and services
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar role or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of residents
