Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Fairlie Healthcare Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing highly specialized occupational therapy assessment and intervention for residents with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement resident-centred interventions based on evidence-based practice and treatment options.
  • Conduct highly specialist assessments of neurological occupational therapy, including cognitive assessments for PDoC.
  • Work autonomously to lead activity teams for leisure and recreation activities, and provide expert advice and guidance to professionals, carers, and relatives.
  • Ensure effective communication with residents and caregivers to maximize rehabilitation potential.

Person Specification:

  • Essential:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and lead a team.
    • Experience in providing occupational therapy services to residents with complex needs.
