Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to fulfill critical roles within our organization. This position primarily involves driving duties with a focus on night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles primarily during night hours.
  • Engage in pure driving tasks with no load handling required.
  • Work on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, with the possibility of additional shifts based on availability.
  • Maintain flexibility in start times, which may vary weekly.
  • Utilize a specialized application for scheduling and job management.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to each shift.
  • Adhere strictly to all driving regulations and working time directives.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive pay structure: £150 per shift on weekdays; £165 per shift on weekends and bank holidays.
  • Access to a modern fleet of Iveco CNG trucks.
  • Guaranteed payment for any canceled shifts.
  • Monthly remuneration through PAYE.
  • Three-month probationary period with holiday pay and statutory sick pay.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid CE license for a minimum of one year.
  • Demonstrated consistent Class 1 driving experience, with at least six months of recent commercial night driving.
  • Exhibit professionalism, ownership, and a proactive approach to challenges.
