Role Profile:

As a Finance Business Partner at Halfords, you will play a key role in supporting the business by providing effective financial analysis and decision-making support to stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance teams in delivering strategy and driving business performance through financial support.
  • Produce financial analysis and commentary, including weekly and monthly reporting, to provide accurate and timely information for decision-making.
  • Work closely with the Finance Leadership Team to understand and control costs, challenge where necessary, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the creation of budgets and forecasts for future activity and input into risk and opportunity processes where relevant.
  • Provide ad hoc financial information and analysis to key stakeholders to support various projects.
  • Be comfortable appraising investments and business opportunities using financial modelling to drive decision-making.
  • Present to the B2B Retail Leadership Team on matters such as monthly performance and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Dynamic and results-driven individual with a high level of energy.
  • Ability to analyse complex data to inform commercial decision-making.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
  • High attention to detail in every aspect of work undertaken ensuring accuracy of reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to build and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel. Ability to use PowerBI is desirable.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to progress and succeed within the business.
  • Fully qualified chartered accountant with experience in property desirable.

Working Arrangements:

The role is based at our Support Centre in Redditch, with a minimum of 2 days per week to be office-based.
