Your Daily Tasks...

  • Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious and appealing meals
  • Cater to special dietary requirements, considering individual preferences and needs
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to address patients' nutritional and dietary needs
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, service areas, and dining facilities
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards as well as Food Hygiene Regulations
  • Properly handle, maintain, and store kitchen equipment according to Cygnet procedures
  • Utilize chemicals in compliance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A proficient Chef capable of thriving under pressure
  • Preferably experienced in the healthcare sector
  • Skilled in planning nutritious and visually appealing menus within budget constraints
  • Holder of a food hygiene certification, maintaining high personal hygiene standards
  • Courteous and professional, with a positive demeanor towards all guests

  • Capable of working independently, as part of a team, and under supervision

Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
