Join Our Team as a UAS Trials Engineer

Malloy Aeronautics Limited is a leading developer of heavy lift unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) for both civilian and military uses. Our company is committed to innovation and excellence in all stages of development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Seamlessly integrate and debug complex systems involving electrical, electro-mechanical, and software components on UAS and test fixtures.
  • Collaborate with internal and third-party engineering teams to integrate new systems and payloads.
  • Create comprehensive testing plans to evaluate the performance of every element of a new capability.
  • Support flight test safety and integration testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering working with drones, directly pertaining to vehicle design or robotic systems, preferably in the UAV space (professional setting).
  • Evidence of past work testing complex systems in an incremental and safe manner.
  • Experience building vehicles or robots utilizing high-power drives or actuators.
  • Adept use of hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment are necessities for this role.
  • Ability to commit to national and international travel.
  • Creating and owning documentation for a variety of technical, program, and testing needs.
