This position will be focused on managing engineering tasks related to significant construction projects that interface with railway systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Take charge of the daily management and coordination of technical and engineering activities on designated civil engineering projects that involve railway interfaces.

Required Expertise:

  • Proven leadership in civil engineering construction, particularly with large and intricate structures in active railway environments.
  • Thorough understanding of asset design and construction practices, including compliance management and procurement processes for subcontractors and suppliers in the railway sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of railway civil engineering standards, particularly NR/L2/CIV/003.
  • Familiarity with the roles and responsibilities outlined in NR/L2/INI/02009 regarding Engineering Management of Projects and Temporary Works as per BS5975.
  • Comprehension of CDM & CSM-RA Regulations and their implications.
  • Ability to monitor engineering activities concerning safety, competence, environmental impact, cost management, scheduling, information flow, testing, and commissioning.
