Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you'll be responsible for supporting project managers in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project managers in developing and implementing project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Assist in coordinating project activities, including stakeholder engagement, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Provide administrative support to project managers, including preparing reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer service, to ensure project delivery meets customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including regular communication and issue resolution.
  • Support project managers in identifying and mitigating project risks, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Assist in developing and implementing project financial management plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Provide input to project managers on project performance, including identifying areas for improvement and developing corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in project management, preferably in the engineering or construction sector.
  • Relevant experience in project financial management and controls.
  • Demonstrable experience in building customer and supplier relationships.
  • Formal project management methodologies, such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum.
  • Degree qualified in Business or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
