As a key player in shaping the future of fulfilment at Tesco, you will focus on enhancing the efficiency of our Grocery Home Shopping network. This role requires a proactive individual who can assist teams in developing innovative processes and solutions while identifying and addressing operational challenges to drive business improvements. If you possess strong analytical capabilities and a passion for problem-solving, this position offers a chance to apply your skills on a significant scale.
Your responsibilities will include:
Evaluating and enhancing the processes involved in product selection, marshalling, and delivery. Identifying root causes of inefficiencies and providing data-driven recommendations to refine the analytical frameworks that support these processes. Collaborating across functions to inform the long-term strategy based on diverse requirements. Generating actionable insights and intelligence. Leading analytical initiatives and supporting project efforts from other teams. Extracting and analyzing data from multiple sources to create new metrics that help identify issues early.Required Qualifications
Proficiency in MS Excel and SQL is essential. Familiarity with additional analytical tools such as Python or Alteryx is advantageous. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus. Knowledge of statistical analysis would be beneficial. Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams. A creative mindset focused on developing innovative solutions. A degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, etc.) is required.
