Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the department's operations to meet key performance indicators, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery.
- Provide leadership and management for the in-patient services team, including recruitment, onboarding, mandatory training, and performance evaluations. Maintain accurate staff records regarding leave, training, and attendance.
- Address and manage patient complaints and feedback in accordance with company policy.
- Implement effective inventory management systems to ensure compliance with financial guidelines, including smart ordering and collaboration with the Finance Manager.
- Conduct audits and reviews of departmental performance, implementing action plans based on findings.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Team to enhance service offerings and achieve targets, including attracting medical professionals to the department.
- Foster strong relationships with external organizations to promote standardization and share best practices.
- Embed Clinical Governance and risk management within daily operations.
- Perform any additional duties that align with the responsibilities of the role.
Candidate Profile
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Experience in an acute care setting.
- Proven track record as a Clinical Manager, preferably in a busy surgical ward.
- Demonstrated competency across various clinical skills, supported by professional knowledge and training.
- Experience in a similar private healthcare environment is advantageous.
- Prior experience at the Ward Manager level is essential for immediate impact.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
