Homelessness Support Specialist

Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Temporary Accommodation Officer to join our team in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing temporary accommodation properties and providing essential housing support to homeless households.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinating with Housing Needs and Social Lettings Agency teams to ensure effective property management.
- Liaising with landlords and contractors to maintain properties and address any issues.
- Monitoring tenancy agreements and addressing breaches in accordance with the Homeless Reduction Act 2017.
- Strong knowledge of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017 and its application in temporary accommodation settings.
- Experience in managing temporary accommodation properties and providing support to tenants.
This is a 3-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. The role involves hybrid working, with 2 days per week spent working from home and the remaining days in the office. The hourly rate is £19.46 (PAYE) or £20.00 (LTD company rate), inclusive of holiday pay.
