As an Equipment Maintenance Coordinator at Taiko Foods, your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage maintenance schedules for all production machinery and facilities, ensuring peak performance and minimal operational interruptions. This role will require collaboration with the maintenance team to plan preventive maintenance initiatives, monitor maintenance tasks, and oversee spare parts inventory. You will also evaluate equipment performance metrics to identify patterns and suggest enhancements. Your strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with various departments will be crucial in upholding the high operational standards at Taiko Foods.

Maintenance Strategy:

• Formulate and execute preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

• Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.

• Align maintenance activities with production timelines to minimize disruptions.

Task Scheduling and Coordination:

• Organize maintenance tasks, ensuring the availability of necessary materials, tools, and personnel.

• Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other departments to ensure effective execution of maintenance operations.

• Coordinate with external contractors or service providers as needed.

Inventory and Parts Management:

• Keep precise records of spare parts inventory.

• Ensure the availability of essential spare parts and materials for scheduled maintenance tasks.

• Manage the ordering and inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain thorough and current records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history.

• Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Document and revise maintenance procedures and guidelines.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for enhancing maintenance processes and procedures.

• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and propose corrective measures.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

• Perform safety inspections and audits of maintenance activities and equipment.

• Foster a culture of safety within the maintenance team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
