Overview:
A prominent company in the fire safety sector is seeking skilled fire protection specialists to enhance their workforce. You will be engaged in a newly initiated residential project, focusing on the installation and repair of fire-resistant materials.
Location: The role will primarily take place in the King's Lynn and surrounding Norfolk region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute installations and remedial tasks related to fire doors.
- Ensure all work aligns with the manufacturer's guidelines.
- Maintain detailed documentation of tasks performed, capturing evidence accurately.
- Address challenges and resolve unexpected issues that may arise during work.
- Communicate effectively with clients and the general public.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of three years' experience in fire stopping.
- NVQ Level 2 in passive fire protection.
- Possession of a valid CSCS card.
- Experience with batt and mastic, fire barriers, and compounds.
- Preferred experience with fire curtains.
- Familiarity with using tracing applications to document completed work.
- Understanding of third-party accreditation standards.
- Asbestos Awareness certification.
