Position Overview

The role of the Laboratory Administrator is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of quality management systems within the organization. This position involves providing exceptional administrative and quality support to various branch teams.

Job Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible schedule from Monday to Friday
Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage quality assurance systems, including conducting internal audits and implementing corrective actions, while providing regular updates and monthly reports.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including data processing and handling inquiries via phone.
  • Ensure adherence to high standards in quality management, particularly in testing and certification protocols.
  • Assist in the evaluation of documentation for new or revised standards in testing methodologies.
  • Deliver training and updates on quality system modifications to all operational staff to maintain compliance.
  • Support the branch team in procurement activities and initiatives aimed at cost efficiency.
Qualifications
  • GCSEs at grades A-C, including Mathematics and English, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Possession of a full, clean driving license.
Experience Required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service roles.
