About the Role
ABM is seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management at our client's site.
Key Responsibilities
- High level cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces and equipment
- Operating company site vehicles, including tugs, vans, and forklifts
- Deep cleaning of washrooms and other high-traffic areas
- Periodic cleaning of stone flooring and other surfaces
- Light maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities
- Waste management and recycling
- Window cleaning and other exterior maintenance tasks
- Operating scrubber driers, buffers, and other cleaning equipment
- Jet washing and other specialized cleaning tasks
Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Valid driving license and ability to operate company vehicles
- Forklift Counterbalance certificate and IPAF certificate are desirable
