Lift Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lift Installation Specialist to join our team at Schindler Group in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate measurement and installation of lift and escalator equipment in accordance with approved procedures. They will also be responsible for adhering to statutory regulations and organizational safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lift and escalator installation, with a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Lift/Escalator Installation or equivalent. Additionally, they will possess a valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and have advanced product and installation knowledge. The successful candidate will be required to work independently with a flexible approach, possess good communication skills, and have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. They will also be required to maintain and monitor current safety systems under their direct control and implement agreed changes to the safety management system. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing lift and escalator equipment, including well and ancillary equipment, traction equipment, lift ropes, and lift doors and frames. They will also be responsible for checking and setting the lift and escalator installation in accordance with approved procedures. The successful candidate will be required to attend all relevant training sessions and work in accordance with the Company's Quality Corporate policy and Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the Company's safety objectives and maintain/monitor current safety systems under their direct control and implement agreed changes to the safety management system.
