We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team at our manufacturing site in Pontypool, Wales. As an IT Infrastructure Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing site's IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee the manufacturing site's IT production infrastructure, including shop floor PC clients, network infrastructure, and manufacturing IT equipment.
- Provide 3rd line client support, troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing IT infrastructure efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Document accurate and up-to-date information related to IT infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements:
- Desirable but not essential Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in an IT hands-on role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Understanding of IT systems, including servers, networks, hardware, and software applications.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Products (Windows, Office 365 etc.) and experience in VMWare Hypervisor/VSphere, Lan/VLAN configuration appreciated.
- Understanding of ITIL v3 preferred.
- Fluent English and confident verbal and written communication skills.
- UK Driving license.
