Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at MAN Commercial Protection. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our distribution site in Peterborough.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reception duties, including badge printing and area access control.
- Alarm monitoring and CCTV investigations.
- Controlling access of visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Internal and external patrols to ensure site security.
- Following site procedures and reporting incidents and accidents to the customer.
- Gatehouse duties, including checking driver's ID and vehicle inspections.
- Screening and search when required.
Requirements:
- A valid SIA guarding/Door Supervisor Licence.
- A 5-year checkable work/education history.
- Competent computer skills with a good knowledge of computer systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to create comprehensive incident reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A happy to help others attitude.
