The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the initial strip-down assembly and fitting requirements of mechanical assemblies to the relevant manufacturing standards. This will involve working closely with the production team to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and assembly, with experience of working in a production environment. They will be able to interpret drawings and specifications, diagnose mechanical faults, and work on their own initiative.

• Ensure the Company Health and Safety Policy is reflected in all actions
• Complete route cards and operations/history sheet documentation in line with company procedures
• Maintain clean, safe working areas and practices
• Be proactive and seek ways to continually improve processes
• Perform duties as required by the business, and in line with employee skills matrix

• Approved time-served craft or technical apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ qualification
• Effective problem-solving skills

We offer a competitive salary, starting at £27,000-£30,000 depending on experience. We also offer a generous pension scheme, 21 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and a flexible working environment.
